Belthirul S

Solid microbiological bioinsecticide for dusting (DP) of Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki (PB-54 strain exclusive to Probelte),formulated with sulfur. Proprietary fermentation technology produces crystals with high insecticidal potency, providing high efficacy in controlling lepidopteran larvae in different crops. Belthirul is highly palatable, and larvae are very attracted to ingesting the insecticidal crystals. It has greater control persistence due to its formulation, which reduces degradation by UV rays. Its high specificity in controlling target pests, does not affect beneficial insects. Suitable for use in organic farming and integrated production. Without PHI period.

How it works

1. High insecticidal power due to its diversity and quantity of crystals present.

2. The larvae ingest the product, stop feeding.

3. Cry crystal dissolves in the alkaline intestine of the larva

4. The protoxins are activated and bind to specific receptors.

5. They form pores in the intestine, and cell lysis and death of the larva occur.
